Life's Lil Lemons

Finish this sentence in three alternate ans original ways: " When life gives you lemons..."

For the sake of metaphor popularity, I am assuming this means when you're handed a sour situation, and your forward intention with it.  The fact is, I love lemons.  They are bright and beautiful, and delicious!  Why do they such a tough rap?  It's really unfair.  I think lemons deserve a better story.

"When life gives you lemons, make lemon loaf."   Because it's delicious, that's why.  And it goes well with tea.

"When life gives you lemons, growing a whole tree full is harder than you think."  Go ahead, take a minute and let that one just sink in.  No matter what angle you look at that from, it's good advice.  It is, really much harder to grow a tree full of "problems" than to just bury the one in your hand.  But if you don't deal with the seeds, you surely have the potential.  And, on the other hand of positivity, with the right care and determination, you could surely grow a tree full of beauty.

"When life gives you lemons, squeeze it out into a warm cup of tea."  You know why... A warm cup of tea never solved a thing, but it warms the inside while you sort yourself out.

I've always said life is what you make of it, and your approach to what's placed in front of you.  I'll take a basket of lemons every day of the week.  But when you are offered cake and tea, you better damn well eat it.

Lemon Zucchini Loaf - You're welcome.
